1:15 PM

The past few weeks have been somewhat busy, as you can tell by the lack of posts recently. My partner at work was rushed to hospital about a month ago with a bad case of pneumonia and a lung infection. As a result, I've been holding down the fort, so to speak, since then without any time off. He's back on Monday (hopefully) and I will be able to enjoy that very chilled and enticing bottle of ice wine in my fridge.

While I have been busy with work, there is a major development that has got me thinking...good or bad, I'm not altogether certain. The bottom line is that the building I live in and manage is quite haunted. Over the last few weeks, I have spoken to a number of people who claim to have experienced some type of ghostly encounter and they have not been pleasant for the most part. This building is about 35 years old and, just in the time I've been here, there has been at least one suicide and 5 deaths that I am aware of. My good friend Holly will likely concur that entities and negative emotional energy can linger in a space like dust and have a noticeable effect on people, without their conscious knowledge. For example, if a person has passed over and had a problem with substance abuse, it could actually pass on that same hunger to an unsuspecting person who is living...and they would think it was their problem. One lady is due in roughly 10 weeks time and she reported waking to a shadow hovering over her while in bed, exerting pressure, and experienced intense pain in her stomach. Being refreshingly open-minded, she is aware that entities like this one will attack the weakest, in this case the child inside her womb. Her boyfriend broke their remote control thinking he was kicking and punching a shadow figure on another occasion. Another woman has had several visits from this shadow and seldom sleeps in her bed now...the last time I spoke with her, she detailed this shadow figure entering her unit and has woken, in her chair, with this entity's fingers around her throat. Taking it one step further, she took pictures of 2 very strange rings around her neck (I saw them as well) that were a result of actually being attacked. She is a somewhat unique case...since her childhood years, she has been able to astral project but seldom when it was a time of her choosing. And she is quite attuned to the energies around her....needless to say, we have had some extremely interesting conversations.

One of my tenants passed away some months ago and I had a bit of an unresolved issue with her. Fortunately, I was able to rectify that but I am almost certain that she was not pleased when she died...in fact, she was quite angry. Some nights when I would walk my rounds, I would get a bad feeling just walking past her door...and this is after she died. The next tenant we rented the unit to remained for only a few months. She had been seen sleeping in her car and when asked why, she had claimed that her dog refused to enter the apartment.

As for me, I have not been immune. For well over a month now, each time I lay down for more than a few minutes, it feels like a cat has jumped onto my bed and is turning in circles trying to make its bed. The pressure on the mattress is unmistakable, as is the light brushing against my legs, as if a gentle breeze was blowing across them but they are under a blanket. On a few occasions, I have also been in conflict with this entity in my dreams...at times, I have been unable to move my physical body (sleep paralysis) and have pictured myself frantically trying to pry open an eyelid to get me back to the physical realm. I have been close to terrified to open my bedroom door because I had seen it leave through that opening.

Because of these incidents, I thought perhaps I should organize a weekly meeting to discuss these oddities, with the aim of getting an organization specializing in paranormal research to come and check the building out. As some of you know, I do not make decisions like this without doing some sacred sign work first, requesting a specific sign to indicate it is in my highest and greatest good to pursue a certain course of action. I requested to be shown a Celtic cross within 24 hours and I did not receive it, so the idea is being put on the back burner for now. Any suggestions regarding this would be appreciated. To my knowledge, there are maybe a dozen or so tenants that are actively pursuing some type of spiritual path and are aware of these hauntings.

I will be posting a longer message next week but there is one item, an exercise actually, that I have found quite helpful for "kick starting" my psychic muscle. I take a magazine that has a lot of photos (I use National Geographic exclusively). Turning my head to one side and closing my eyes, I open the magazine and place a palm on the page. Faster than thought, I get an image of basic shapes, which is the focus of this exercise. It's not important that the actual picture is seen clearly but merely the basic and prominent shapes. I was in one session and clearly saw two odd shaped circles, one slightly elevated, side by side, but when I opened my eyes to confirm the page only revealed text. Needless to say, I was mystified that I would get such a clear picture of these circles and yet my hand had been over a page full of text. Turning to the next two pages answered my uncertainty. It was a full 2 page spread that highlighted the Russiona invasion of Afghanistan and showed two young soldiers reclining with the focus of the shot on their faces. It was an interesting learning experience. Another variation is to use a deck of cards. After orienting to the sensations emitted by the black and red, you simply close your eyes, run a palm across the one on top and tune in to the sensation it is sending out. The differences can be VERY subtle but with a bit of practice ( a couple of minutes every second day) they can be felt quite clearly. For both of these exercises, the FIRST image or sensation that is experienced is quite similar to remote viewing so if you find that these methods bear fruit for you, I HIGHLY suggest you try your hand at a few practice targets. One last point that I really need to stress is to trust yourself and do not allow others to instill any type of doubt in your efforts. They do not walk in your shoes, nor do they have the same abilities as you may possess. If something resonates inside as being or feeling right - and your actions do not harm or injure anybody - it is almost always a clear message from your guides that you're on the right path and proceeding in the right direction. As it is often said...you are exactly where you are supposed to be. The key is to always be aware of hunches and opportunities that fill each day and to act on them.

Help support the Dalai Lama

You can help make tomorrow's world by acting today.

So far, over 360,000 people have signed an urgent petition
calling on the Chinese government to respect human rights in
Tibet and engage in meaningful dialogue with the Dalai Lama.

After nearly 50 years of Chinese rule, the Tibetans are
sending out a global cry for change. But violence is spreading
across Tibet and neighboring regions, and the Chinese regime is
right now considering a choice between increasing brutality or
dialogue, that could determine the future of Tibet and China.

We can affect this historic choice. China does care about its
international reputation. Its economy is totally dependent on
"Made in China" exports that we all buy, and it is keen to make
the Olympics in Beijing this summer a celebration of a new
China that is a respected world power.

President Hu needs to hear that 'Brand China' and the Olympics
can succeed only if he makes the right choice. But it will take
an avalanche of global people-power to get his attention.
Click below to help by signing a petition to President Hu
calling for restraint in Tibet and dialogue with the Dalai
Lama.

The petition is organized by Avaaz.org, a not-for-profit
global campaigning organization. Avaaz is urgently aiming to
reach one million signatures to deliver directly to Chinese
officials.

Have a safe and happy Easter...or Ostara as the case may be. If you'd like to learn a bit more about how the festival of Ostara became a Christian holiday, click on the above image.

See you in the ether!

Hi, I have a few items I have used over the years that work well in spirit infestations; I will go through my stuff and pull them out for you if you want. In the mean time on my website there is a list of Traditional herbs used in funerals Or Spirit Infestations http://www.silverhoofs.com/herbals.htm These herbs do not stir up the spirits (which some rituals can do if not done correctly) They are safe in this aspect they just do what they say they do. I recommend a combination of The following (assuming you are using 1 cup of each loose ingredient unless otherwise noted)

Cedar (You can even use that bedding for animals)
Crushed Basal,
Crushed Comfrey (1/2 cup),
Crushed dried Roses
Powdered Frankincense (If you cant find powdered you can use tears or Oil about 10 drops per cup of loose mixture)
Myrrh (same quantity as frankincense)
Oak Sawdust or slivers
Rowan wood sawdust or slivers

Fragrance or essential oils.
6 drops to 1 cup of mixture of Cypress oil
15 drops to 1 cup of mixture Sandalwood oil
½ cup of baking flour to entire mixture
½ cup salt

Mix all together in as equal parts as you can gather, place in corners or top stair and bottom stairs, pinch in door ways and other areas you feel need protected, including the 4 directions, Replace mixture as needed (once a month) or when it seems to have been “walked away”

Hope this helps,
LWM

Good morning, Nick. Happy belated Ostara, my friend.

Yes, I absolutely agree with you that negative energies and spirits can linger - in my experience, this happens when the person has died a violent or sudden death, and it can be extremely traumatic for those living in this flesh-and-blood plane to understand and cope with those visits. Especially when those spirits are physically attacking.

In light of what you've shared about your building, Nick, it seems to me that it might be an idea to consider having a professional come in and do a cleansing. From what you've described, it sounds like these negative energies are building, so you want to try to stop them before it gets worse. The season is changing, and the energies of spring are strong - which gives these unhappy spirits more strength to make themselves more noticeable.

As to the question of organizing weekly meetings, well, I'd be happy to put a forum together for you and your tenants, if you'd like. I can have one put together inside of half an hour, and drop by here with the link if you want. Let me know, okay?

I hope your partner is feeling better, these days, Nick; that flu bug has been hitting a lot of people - in a weird way, it's almost like Stephen King's "The Stand" is coming to life... Freaky, really...
